1) 📊 China's Reduction in Energy Consumption :

China's reduced its energy consumption goals for 2024 by a modest 2.5% per unit of gross domestic product. China originally set goals of reducing emission intensity by 18% and energy intensity by 13.5% over the period from 2021 - 2025, and it's falling quite short of these metrics. Learn more here 


2)💰 UK's Energy Frugality:

The UK is spending less than all other major European countries on low-carbon energy policy, coming in at only $33.3 bn USD for 2020-2023. But, this reduction in spending could lead to higher energy bills, and reduce UK's economic growth. Learn more here
