1) EU 🤝 Geothermal Energy:

The European Union Parliament passed a resolution to spur geothermal energy development. This new type of renewable energy has lots of potential: it is relatively low cost, and there are lots of existing technologies. Is it key to our energy transition? Learn more here
 

2) 👀 China's Growth of Renewables:

China's northwestern deserts are becoming a huge source of renewable power. And, these large facilities have utilization of over 95%. The power plants of the northwest desert are now world leaders in the successful integration and utilization of renewables with the grid. Learn more here 
 

3) 🛠️ Undersea Pipes for CO2 Capture:

The UK has a plan to move CO2 from a power plant under the sea in pipes, to then be transported and buried. It's a plan to reduce emissions, but is this what we should prioritize over establishing more renewables? Learn more here
